What's the difference between Thai and Spanish built

Whilst hunting for a Navara and looking at accessories I have come across references to Thai built and Spanish built.

Do we get both in the UK? If so what are the differences? Is one better than the other?

Thanks

Re: What's the difference between Thai and Spanish built

Dunno if the Thai built vehicle is available in UK. However what I do know the differences are amazing. They look the same but the list is huge-
Engine is usually a different tune, less power on the Thai built.
Thai built manuals have a single mass fly wheel, Spanish Dual. SMF giving greater durability but not as silky smooth as the Spanish trucks
Chassis rail spacings are different so offset of wheels is different, bull bar mounts, body mounts...goes on and on
Lots of other minor things like radio antenna location, side indicator lights...

As for what one is better built is a moot point. Here in Australia it is generally reported there seems to be less issues with the Thai built trucks but then again there is probably more Spanish built trucks on the road.

As said, U.K. trucks are Spanish built, build quality not as good as Thai, but with lots more extras
