I seen this on another forum that i used to be on for my old car and i notice no one has put anything similar on here so i thought id see how it would go. So....

What i did to my car today was drove to work then back home, then filled her up with some fuel and went for a cruise with me mate out in the hills with his d22 nav then had to pull him out of a bog cause he tried to get across a clay pan lol :)

Tonight I'm going to finish wiring up my lights on my new bulbar. Relay is in, as is the internal switch (got a nice carling switch off fleabay). :smile2: I've just got to connect everything up under the bonnet.

I might swap the bulbs out for LED's, but I'll see what it looks like first.

Started swapping gear from my 2007 condemned Nav' to the replacement 2014 model. Took the custom rear bumper off the old one ready to swap the old one of the new one (if you see what I mean}. Swapped the latch panel off the tailgate so that I could keep the stainless cover on the handle and get rid of a big scratch on the new one. Took the stainless trim strip off the front of the old one and found it won't fit the new one. Swapped over the front door draft excluders (old one's a King cab so none for the rear of the new double cab. Still to remove the trumpet horn and compressor and tuning chip as well as the Truckman top.

Sprayed 2 cans of krown t40 on my chassis. Hopefully now my chassis will last couple more years...

Brimmed the tank, added a can of Liqui Moly, Fitted an EGR blank plate with 10mm hole, reset the ECU, Took it for a long drive and no issues yet even after letting it idle for half an hour. Not saying there might not be an issue later, if there is ill just take it out but need to do something about my fuel economy. Worse than my euro 4 manual at the minute.

Umm, I've nothing exciting. Just re-parked the Nav 20m from our 5th wheel under trees that offer plenty of shade from the sun. Even though it's white, I worry about the paint (it is a Nissan after all!) when it's 38C plus hard UV sunlight. And it now keeps it a lot cooler - I can actually touch the steering wheel when I need to go to the beaches up the road for lunch, or to a Lidl to restock! Surely, the chassis is happy though.... :)

10-4 Landmannnn. I signed off yesterday with a "Cheerio". ?
Will take a while to get back into the swing of it.
Way back when I had my first CB, there was a craze to acknowledge with Roger-D, presumably for Roger Dodger... ?
Does make you sound a bit like a Taxi though. But the 1.5 Meter antenna looks cool on the truck.

Truck drivers here just use UHF CB to shout obscenities at each other :/

Today I took my old 750 kilo boat up to Ramsey in near zero visibility where I swapped it for my new (to me) 1800 kilo boat which I drove back over the mountain in near zero visibility. Towed well and went up the mountain with no dramas. Job's a good'un :partycheer:

Swapped the entire aircon clutch unit over from a 2nd hand 2014 one. Had my aircon serviced the otherday and found the wire had been broken off the magnet.... just had the system charged too so had to replace without removing the compressor out of the truck. Not a job i would recommend, ask my arms :(. All works now tho so bring on the heat!

All this talk of tyres has obviously jinxed me, as I ended up with a flat.

Managed to get it fixed by my local fitter, but while there also ordered my new set of Coopers. Gone for the AT3 Sport in 365/60/18. My fitter could supply and fit them for £50 less than I could get them for on eBay without fitting. Then they've done today's repair for free too.

Tyres due Friday! :thumbleft:
