Gave my truck a good dose of fuel treatment

Quite pleased, admittedly did a longish run, but the fuel treatment seems to have helped consumption on my V6

I used a can of the bg fuel treatment and did notice a better response from the engine so I guess there's something that works in these items.

A

I use Millers diesel power ecomax every tank or at least every other tank fill. It clears all black smoke when you floor it
Increases cetane rati g so use this with supermarket fuel and costs about 1p a litre extra

Have you tried the new one?
Forte Specialist Injector Cleaner, well recommended.

no mate I haven't,my mechanic mate in tamworth says that the old forte diesel treatment is all I need.it restores the spray pattern, lubricates the fuel pump and cleans the fuel lines.he`s that old,he once worked on fred flintstones car,so he knows whats what!!,but I will take a look.the only other pull is that he sells it me for a tenner

If he is that old he wouldn't have heard of it.
There is no reason why you can't use both, the Specialist one is specifically for injectors.
Round here we all swear by it, engines that failed the MOT massively, pass after a couple of hours of driving with no more than a can of this in half a tank full of fuel.
This comes direct from the rep.
Do NOT use the old trick of putting additive neat into a new filter, this stuff is so powerful it may well cause damage!

I think I might stick a bottle in on this full tank as I've got a 300 mile run home that should give it a good clear out I reckon!
