I had the opposite experience of Brembo, my pads only lasted 6 months at the most, maybe not even that. Went to Milner and they have lasted 2 years so far.
It depends if you want the brakes to last a long time or work well. I found the Brembo or other premiums work best, milner/mintex didn't bite but were more durable.
Maybe so, but I can hardly tell a difference between the two, and at £12 for a set of Milner pads than last 2 years, and £200 worth for the same In brembo (£50 per 6 months), its 100% not worth that difference.
I may try mintex next as I have been happy with them in the past.
I prefer Mintex every time.
BUT, Textar, Mintex, Don, Pagid (all well known, and respected brake manufacturers) plus a few well known names, are all part of the same worldwide company TMD Friction.
EBC Green stuff, always been happy with them dont buy the yellow etc unless you use the brakes constantly they will just glaze the Green 6000 are the ones to go for or as some have said mintex always been pleased with those too just dusty
EBC Yellow Stuff for me on stock rotors. I found Green Stuff good but very quick wearing as were Ultimax2 (hence very dusty). I've not suffered from glaze as mentioned above - I don't consider myself a heavy braker but perhaps the evidence is stacked against me.......
I got Apex discs and pads on the front of mine. Got them at cheap due to Maccess in Birmingham closing down. Think they're called Tetrosyl now or something like that and you can order online if you have a trade account with them.
They're lasting me well, been over a year or so since i changed them.
