Not sure if this is in the right place.

I need new disk and pads on my 2011 nav. Had a few different prices just wondered what ur views were on the best/different makes.

Been quoted approx:

Milner off-road own brand - £60
Apex. - £105
Brembo. - £115

These are prices for disk and pads and also on 17in wheels which I think mine are.

So what I'm asking is, is there much different between Milner to brembo?

I have used both mintex pads and discs on my old disco, very pleased with their performance and longevity.

EBC Yellow Stuff for me on stock rotors. I found Green Stuff good but very quick wearing as were Ultimax2 (hence very dusty). I've not suffered from glaze as mentioned above - I don't consider myself a heavy braker but perhaps the evidence is stacked against me.......

I got Apex discs and pads on the front of mine. Got them at cheap due to Maccess in Birmingham closing down. Think they're called Tetrosyl now or something like that and you can order online if you have a trade account with them.

They're lasting me well, been over a year or so since i changed them.

Had truck for over 2 years now and whats on there still going strong!... Also it turns out whoever fitted the brakes fitted the pads the wrong way.
