Re: Electric Fan Conversion

From bitter experience kenlowe fans are not well made. They claim to have made them better; more waterproof and better bearings, but really they are not OEM quality and will not have decent reliability.

As for cable ties around the radiator fins, how can that possibly be right?

Re: Electric Fan Conversion

Drove to the chippy this evening which is quite a few miles (worth the distance) anyway normal driving, not tearing the bum out of it and not driving miss Daisy.

Showed a 2mpg increase in economy, so i know it's not a lot, but to Euro 4 auto owners, it's a welcomed surprise.

Probably going to adjust my DTE and do an ECU reset soon and see if i can gain a bit more, not having the viscous roar is weird though

Anyway i will update as and when

Paul, i'll try and find out where mine was bought and price etc

Re: Electric Fan Conversion

Ok, so far in real terms i'd say i've gained around 2mpg which i'm very pleased with, but will update again in a few weeks.

I have been experimenting with other stuff today and have seen a substantial increase in economy partly because of the Kenlowe.
