Yes. You need to get a small pick into the locking key hole. then with a large screw driver try and turn the spring loaded gear a tooth or 2 back so that the pick goes into the main gear. You can then leaver the spring loaded gear back to where you can insert a proper locking pin. Obviously you need to lock the two teeth together with a screwdriver or pry bar to stop them unwinding again whilst you remove the pick and insert the locking pin. Then it's a case of lining the dots all up on the crank gear, the intermediate (spring loaded) gear and the the actual smaller balance gear. Quite simple really, if a little time consuming. Once all the dots are aligned you are good to go.
