Any chance of a photo of new top?

Especially close up of back. Does the central locking work as it's supposed too?

Yes had it fitted there whilst I had a walk around the local shopping area on a Friday afternoon, took about three hours probably, also had the tailgate assist fitted at same time. Bristol is about a 3hour journey, but the cost of courier then getting it wired up etc just wasn't worth the time of running down there, it was first real run in new truck, not sure exact figures but probably about 3 k total !
I'll try and post some pics to show the fit, it was the central locking device that swung me on all windows, added security. If I was to be critical I'd say the tint is to dark, unable to use rear view mirror now as back is pitch black, also good for peeping eyes into load bed !
I drive a truck so well used to only using side mirrors, so not an issue for me, others may not like this ?

Cheers, it does look smart.

Have to admit it was the security aspects that also attracted me. Central locking working ok? What do you think about their tailgate assist?

Unfortunately in addition to the cost, for me I'm a good 6 or 7 hours on a good run. However given threads such as this I'm hesitant to get one delivered to say the least!

Thanks, central locking is great, so much better than set up without it on previous Navara, you could open lock with any small key !
I never liked leaving anything in back for that reason, now it's a different story, and as I said anyone looking in cant see what's in there to pinch.
If you decide on that hardtop it's well worth the trip, probably a night stay for you though, they are only just off motorway network so very easy to find, I would recommend their fitting to avoid any future issues, you can decide if your happy at their location prior to leaving.

Is yours a black Navara ? Apparently the white colour isn't a brilliant match, but black is fine, I think it's just because of paint on a fibreglass material next to a painted metal surface, the shine is slightly different so does look slightly diferent.
The showroom where I bought my Navara had a demo in Savannah yellow, match was awful, really diferent shades.

Tailgate assist is worth paying for, does help, it's not just a gimmick, it makes opening and closing so much easier, I'm glad I had that fitted now, that was always an issue on the last three pickups I've had, don't understand why they should be so heavy
BEPEC likes this.

Somewhat reluctantly l think if did decide to go with Pegasus I think I'd have to make the trip. Still got time to ponder, factory order truck and no indication of real delivery date yet.

Pick up will be blue so colour match important.

As dealer fit tailgate assist was 200+vat, Pegasus wasn't that bad considering also assist closure? Shame similar after sales options, when sales men had actually been asked about them by others, were only 100 fitted

Well, Court date is set for 9th August.

Mr Butt will have to travel around 235 miles each way to attend. I have already sent him my document pack (recorded delivery) which I will be referring to in court. It contains over 50 items showing what a poor quality product he provided and how the level of customer service Pegasus provide is appalling.

All he had to do was replace the faulty top with a good one and he would have still had my money.

Now in addition to the other faults the front edge seal has fallen off!

Unfortunately I've also had dealings with Alec Butt at Pegasus 4x4. They are what can only be described as con men.

Once you've handed over the money, they no longer care about anything.

Second rate products for premium price. How they're still in business I will never know!

It's too late for me, but if anyone is thinking about dealing with them please take my advice and DON'T! Avoid them like the plague!!

Just look at their Facebook page, bad review after bad review.

Terrible firm and I hope Alec gets his comeuppance.

Best of luck, I really hope you win.

If you get a chance give Alec a right hook for me! I'm sure he's had a few punches in his time with the amount of people he's screwed over!
