Well, Mr Butt turned up at King's Lynn Court accompanied by his Barrister no less!
The Barrister had a quick word with me before we went into court. Presumably in the hope I was going to bottle it and decide to settle out of court. I told him there was nothing I wanted to say to him.
We went into court and after the initial introductions the only people who really spoke were the Barrister and the Judge.
I did try to make a comment a couple of times but was advised by the Judge to "keep quiet as Mr Preston (the Barrister) is very much on the back foot". Shortly after that I was told by the Judge "don't look so worried. You have won".

The Judge dismissed the case against me so I did not even have to defend myself.

Mr Butt didn't travel from Bristol to Norfolk in a vehicle big enough to take his truck top home with him so ended up having to arrange for one of my local Audio/Alarm fitters to disconnect the wiring/undo the clamps on the top. Mr Butt also arranged for a couple of Eastern Europeans with a Sprinter Van and car trailer to collect the top. They put the top down onto the bare metal car trailer before stuffing it into their van so I am sure that did Mr Butt's truck top paintwork a world of good (I did take photos of this and sent them to Mr Butt).

God knows how much a debt collection agency, court fees, a solicitor, a barrister, a fitter and a courier cost Mr Butt. I hope he still thinks it was all money well spent. Maybe on reflection he wishes he had replaced the top on my vehicle with one that wasn't faulty

Happy Days!

Well done, hats off to you.
I assume nobody on this Forum will give this Butt character any business ever again...., so well done, him! What a hero he is. Not.

The plural of anecdotes is not data. Anecdotes however, are better than hearsay.... And keep your NOx and particulate emissions LOW - it's better than killing your kids.... Only meant for those that mod in a way that adds to pollution!

2014 Nav V6 (quite nice) & Celtic Rambler (awesome).

Having owned a pegasus hard top i can say the build quality is nothing short of amazing!!
Yep i really meen that!!
Its amazing they got away with passing off poor quality and bad fitting doors and windows for a premium price for so long!
I for 1 would never buy any product from them after reading this and my own experiences owning 1
Just think if 1% of the members on this 1 website were going to buy one and now dont how much money has he just lost by not replacing susieq's hard top?

AH ! Just seen this post !!

Ordered the top up cover styling bar and tailgate assist from Pegusus.

When I visited the premises I ordered there an then. I did check there demo truck with these fitted it look good and works well. It's not flimsy an no poor edge lines like the carryboy fitted to my brothers
wildtrak, and other tops I've seen, it looks far better,Nissan dealer recommended them also.

They will be fitting on the day after I pick up my NP300, will take this in mind the issue you've had and check over 100% for faulty workmanship, and leave when happy. Plus I didn't deal with Alec either !!

Best news I've heard all year. I hope it cost him a fortune. The guy is not a nice person.
