I'm with you there - although it's not so bad if you pull the wheel arch liner out and go in through there...

In fairness to the truck the only thing I hate (currently) is the gearbox, and that's not a general issue, it's specifically my truck, it will never go into 1st unless you're at a dead stop, rarely likes going into second, 3rd and 4th are stiff as hell to get into. Have changed the oil using the correct grade, and dexron III auto fluid as some people have had success with, which I'll admit has improved it, but I think this year it'll be a replacement box going in. One of the benefits of so many being scrapped I guess is that large 2nd hand parts like that are readily available for reasonable prices!

My pet hate is how sensitive the steering/suspension is to road camber. It pulls to the left in the UK, to the right in the continent. My second one, they both do it.

+1 on the Oil Filter Location.

Lack of any underbody armour is my hate.
Well that, and even if you so much as frown as the interior a scratch is generated!

Can tell is a cheap ass Renault!

I do love it though!

Or maybe there is some sort of booster cushion available for short people with short arms?

No one has mentioned the rubberised silver paint on the steering wheel and door caping by the switches.

Although it does look like Keith is missing most of his fingers in that photo.
