No no no no no.

And no, not impersonating the guy off the vicar of dibly.

Just NO. You cant force people into putting information about themselves up, its optional as the internet can, if you want it to be, a place of anonymity.

And don't go spouting off about "this place being all friendly" because I've used forums for a lot longer than most here and barr some good friends don't want some random guy off the internet knocking on my door asking to look my thrunge bracket because he put 2 and 2 together and found me with my location and model etc.

Consider my user profile downdated...
As said, i couldn't care less but, let's just be clear, it was only a rough location that was asked, not a full address and post code.

When the members map was set up here, if you read my posts, i was against it, security here has always been a concern for me, so i'm certainly not demanding anybody disclose anything.

Just a rough location was asked, but i don't think anybody will lose sleep over it

Re: Put your vehicle, model age etc in your signature

thankfully I I'm not rich, important or famous enough for anyone to go out of their way to come and fiddle with my thrunge bracket, so I'm perfectly happy to disclose my name, roughly where I live and what I drive. After all, I've been on the www long enough to know that regardless of how much anonymity you think you have, if someone wants to find you they can
