Knackered clutch parts help please

Hi all,

My Pathfinder clutch is on its last legs. Really slippy under moderate acceleration now so needs doing. My local 4x4 specialist has a broken transmission jack and isnt taking bookings until the end of next month which I fear will be too late!

My local garage has quoted 300 labour, as long as I supply the parts.

EuroCarParts are listing an Exeddy SMF conversion kit (633700010) for 634.99

With this weekends offer, it can be had for 412. I may hold out for an offer closer to 50% off however.

What else, if anything, would I need to give the garage in order to fix my truck.

Sorry for a long post. Any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Nathan.

Wow, didn't think to check milners! Thanks. Spigot bush is 6 and bolts are 20 so much cheaper! Thanks very much.

Don't do it that way. If you supply the parts and they do the labour, you get very little come back if they get it wrong.

Kaisermotor used to be a forum sponsor, not far from you, give them a call.

They are still a fair distance. I appreciate what you are saying about not having much come back at the garage, but they keep all our cars going so they are trusted. I assume a SMF conversion is the same step-by-step as a DMF replacement?!

Seeing as the bits can be had for a reasonable amount, I may get them ordered and booked in.

Do I need replaement flywheel bolts (as recommended on Milners?) or are they ok to be reused?
