Parking sensors or reversing camera?

Hello all

I am looking at using reversing aids on a D22. (Mainly because I drive a small car the rest of the time and better safe than sorry)

I have been looking online at parking sensors and reversing cameras and cant decide which I prefer.

Would you recommend parking sensors or a reversing camera and are there any brands or models that stand out as a good buy?

Many thanks

Has to be camera. Had parking sensors on various cars and compared to nowt, they are very good and very useful. Had camera on my last, X5 and now a camera on the NP300 and would be deal breaker on any new vehicle. So much better and being able to see you can get within an inch after you get used to them. Cant rate highly enough.
Just my opinion of course!

NP300 Cayman Blue Tenka manual Euro 5. Nissan truck top, just some extra lights but WITH NNNet STICKERS front and back 👊 Loving it.

A reversing camera is only of use if you have a decent screen, a double din head unit for example. So if you have one or are thinking of one, then go for a camera. The add on types with small screens are too small to see what is going on.
I would fit reversing bleepers, the cheap ebay ones are fine and should be less than £25. Don't bother with the front sensors.

If you want to upgrade later you can add a camera as well.

I have a camera which works great. I could do with sensors on the front as I have caught the front nearside bumper a couple of times on one of the concrete pillars in car parks. But then I suppose those with the NP300 are OK with their 360 camera view.
