Re: Rich.'s Navara Build

Its a small heater that goes between your waher pump and washer jets. A charge of screenwash is stored inside it and heated to 60 degrees. So when i hit my windscreen washer, i get hot screenwash for about 3 seconds. Wait 20 seconds for it to reheat and i can go again.

In the sunmer, its far more efficient at removing bugs ect. than cold screenwash.

In Winter, it deices the windscreen without scraping/deicer.

Re: Rich.'s Navara Build

I'll be the first to admit i was never a perfectionist until i got my current job. I spend a large amount of time repairing/modifying/rebuilding very expensive recycling equipment, where downtime costs huge amounts of money, so everything has to be done perfect, absolutely no room for bodging , and i guess thats transferred over to lots of other areas of my work now. If i know its not to the best of my abilities, it will be getting redone.

Theres nothing better than saying to a mate "yer, I had to cut a load of panels to get the new tweeters in, and for them to reply "oh, i thought they were the factory ones"

Re: Rich.'s Navara Build

Looking good

But have to agree on grill... Not nice

And a little confused about the tow bar/step mod, as why you had to cut the step my whiter bar fits out past the step..

Here's my black grill, its not a chrome one painted, I brought a plain one off eBay for colour coding and sprayed it black..

3" triple chrome rollbar
5 Black 6" KC Daylighter’s 150w
4" A-bar, 2 Chrome KC Daylighters 100w
Remote start
Kenwood DDX60232BT & sat nav
Talking Reverse sensors & camera
2 Solstices 10w & 32" LED for reverse light

Re: Rich.'s Navara Build

Entirely for looks and nothing else. Nothing better than a big bulky hitch

Went for a drive and grabbed a snap.

The grill is starting to grow on me! Im not happy with the colour temperature of the bulbs in the fogs though, they're meant to be 4300k and if theres one thing they aren't, its 4300k.

They aren't the green they are in the photo, but they certainly do have a green tint to them, its just been amplified by the cameras processor
