I thought it would be a good idea to have one thread with all fitting instructions hints and tips

Here is the link to the roll and lock fitting instructions on their website

instructions

there seems to also be alot of questions with regards to keeping the c channels so anyone that can shed some light/has good quality pictures please stick them in here

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5924&hilit=roll+n+lock+c+channel&start=10

Looking at pics in that thread the c channel seems to be bolted to the bed. Have these holes been drilled as mine doesnt seem to have any bolt holes or fixing points???

Another problem seems to be leaky roll tops, solutions seem to include removing the housing cover to un block drainage holes, this should probably be checked every other month to keep them blockage free

The leaks around the tailgate can be solved with neoprene rubber strips

someone may be able to post a link and some pictures of where it is fitted

My problem is with the roller not locking in place. there is approx 15mm worth of play from side to side which means it rattles from side to side and opens up even although the lock is in the shut position.

If any one could shed any light or add usefull info that would be great

My Armidillo used to open on its own when new, took it back for adjustment ( only couple mins or so) but i didn't go in workshop so didn't see what they did- sorry, useless post ha ha. I'm sure chap said it was just a screwdriver job, just to tweak it.
