Just found this:

http://www.laserprotector.com/

Its quite expensive but we shouldn't have any 'metal bumper' problems with it. It also jams laser guns but as it a parking laser it 100% legal. Anybody got any comments?

Oli.

I was really more interested it it as a reversing sensor as so many people have had trouble with the ultrasonic parking sensors in metal bumpers?

Might not be cheaper than replacing a chrome bumper, or so poor car you reverse in to!!

Oli.

I know what you mean, I'm sure the Nav bumper wont get damaged too easily.

I'm really interested as I think it will give my misses more confidence when she drives it.

Don't want her backing in to an L200 and writing it off.

They do dent quite easily - I backed in to a Vauxhall Nova left big dent in my bumper and no damage to Nova. Cant be repaired so either big GB sticker or new bumper £600.00
