d22 free wheel hubs

I see Milner offroad have reduced the price of their d 22 manual free wheel hubs to 46+vat each.
Don't think they are AVM ones though.

manual hubs enable you to disconnect the front axle, diff, prop and drive train from being driven round be the front road wheels, reducing drag, wear and tear on front axle components and saving fuel, so yes they are a good thing to have.
They also tend to be more reliable than auto hubs, and easier to maintain

cheers

Yes fixed on most d22 and 23.
Fitting them saves fuel and drivetrain components when they are disengaged.
Also allows you to use 4 low on tarmac etc.

Re: d22 free wheel hubs

So if you need to use 4 wheel drive you need to get out and turn the settings on the wheel then engage 4 wheel drive

Kc driving lights 150 watts a piece, 2 additional led reversing lights equal to 55 watts each Hankook 265 75 16 pipercross air filter cone type EGR blanked off, free wheel hubs S/S exhaust from the cat back no boxes and twin side outlet pipes

yes, but once they are in you can change from 2 to 4wd without altering them until you are finished with 4 wd then you can drop them out again
