Count me in I might be a bit late it's a hundred and 10 miles and 2 hours for me each way.

If I wreck the truck your getting me home! Lol that's the deal. Same both ways.

With that in mind 930 to 10 am please.

My route will be m5 to m4 can we meet on m4 I know it's abit out of the way for you but either that or at the place. I don't have a cb but would like one.
I will bring winch, strops ,shackles and 5 ton truck tie downs. With me oh and I have a big rope.
I still can't find my bumper jack! It makes me grumpy might have to buy a new one 48 or 60 inch? Funny I can't find my wheel strops to go with the bumper / farm jack. I must have lent it somebody.

Got my wellies and a change of clothes.

Will any one join us?

Hi,

Yeah can meet you at cheivley service on the M4/A34 Junction for the final run in in if you like? 10am is fine for me, as I'm bringing my kids, so it'll be like herding cats to get them out the house! I wouldn't worry about too much recovery gear, tow rope, strops and shackles should be fine. I'm bringing the bridging ladders. Wellies or boot are a must! ?

See you Sunday.

Matt

Super time feeling tired now had 2 pints in the local on my way back home as I said 5.30. To head office.
Roast chicken diner and a bit more cider. Cleaned out the towbar electrics. Good old mr nissan has the the truck tomorrow. To fix the electrics. I hope they water proof it all up after there body shop have destroyed all the seals when they did the body tub off chassis treatment.

You must try out the Aldermaston 4x4 without a club off road place it's cracking and very well run. 9.75 out of 10.

Oh and those side steps on the navara are quite strong after all. The mounting brackets do need beefing up a bit though. In saying that they didn't bend as much as twist a bit.

You will be surprised how well a nav does off road. The pathy is shorter in the wheel base though so doesn't ground out so easily...all I can say is power on through it because the only time I didn't I got stuck .......oops!

''Twas fun next time you lot will have to come and play. Bear hunts with kids and wife play days can be what ever you like. Come on down we could plan the next one now for next month there are some mild routs for standard road tires and standard cars then the more extreme what we did and then the roll caged mental modified stuff, there's a burger van for tea and food, thunderbox loos and jolly friendly bunch. Come on who wants to be surprised by there truck. Pathy d40 or np300 it's what they are made for.

I was using my propshaft as drill.
Looks like you might have to make some. The side steps act as warnings I only gave it a small knock go slow and safe laugh out loud. On a serious note I remember seeing a post about them on here I think . I am surprised they aren't available have you tried all the off road companies Milner in Matlock Derbyshire for example.

I have a new recruit for next month he has a Toyota. He thinks it's ok
Hand bags at dawn.
May be we start a new post for next month and have a navara net get together.
Pleanty of notice and if need be for the people who are scared of getting there trucks dirty. I don't mind passengers. But they hVe to buy the bacon butties.
Next month navara net get to know each other and mess up your truck meet .
Aldermaston next month if you dare. Butty fest. All welcome all makes.
