Hey Guys,

Just picked up a Nissan D22 2005.

The battery in the unlocking fob were dead, so i replaced the battery. When pressing the unlock button (it is only one button on the remote), all indicators flash but nothing unlocks. Could it be that the central locking has been disabled? It seems like it is paired to the car as the indicators come on, just not sure why it isn't unlocking or locking the car.

I follow the step by step guide to try and reset it, but no luck.

Any help would be appreicated.

Thank you

Welcome along.

If the indicators are flashing I would suggest the fob is working ok.
Is it an after market setup or a Nissan one?

If it is an original equipment one, does the internal lock/unlock switch work?

Thanks for the reply @landmannnn

Im not sure if it is aftermarket as the owner said he had never used.

When use a physical key, or use the internal door lock button (near automatic windows) , all doors either unlock or lock.

Ok, sounds like a difficult one to solve, especially if it is a wiring issue.

Actually what some people have done is to fit an aftermarket Central locking kit. Fairly simple to wire up, certainly a lot easier than trying to find a fault somewhere.

Thanks for the reply Landmannn, I'm wondering if it is already aftermarket, as the key fob is just one button for lock and unlock, looks exactly the same as my old cars. I'll have a look at some options. I appreciate the help =)
