Do most of you buy your tyres online and then have them fitted? Looking for a set of AT's and struggling to find anywhere local that stocks, or will get them in for me at a reasonable price. Wondering if places are funny about fitting tyres you've sources yourself?

I just fitted four bf Goodrich at2 tyres.
I must admit I hate to say this because it Gauls me but I got them at kwick fit because they matched a price and filled them with nitrogen not air and balenced them for the same as I could get them on line. I also used my secret weapon in that I asked a friends repair business to price them at mates rates from a trade account and it cost £10 more but saved a favour and a 40 mile round trip at 24-25 to the gallon and a couple of hours. I think the bill was £618 all in

Most of the time I buy them locally. But sometimes I buy online and get them put on by the local shop. Last time I needed 4 new geolandar ats tyres and I needed them fast. No one could deliver them fast. Found them online and got them 2 days later.
