Does that sound a difficult job? I thought it looked tight for access and a bit close to the fuel tank so my initial thinking was ‘the game’s up - new truck required’ as it’s 14 years old. But, i’ve Spoken to a welder who reckons he can repair it - not had a price yet though. He looked in through the wheel arch but couldn’t get it on the ramp at the time.
I’m apprehensive about structural safety after welding it and probably will get rid once it’s MOT’d but it’s easier to trade in etc with the years MOT.
