I'm so green, I don't know what the various designations of D22 and D40 mean.

I believe the D22 to be the Navara dating from I don't know what year to 2006, and the D40 to have been introduced this year - is this basically correct?

I'm buying a D22 next week, hope delivery by Friday.

Cheers.

Hi mate,

Don't worry - most people just speak English and not Nissan model code!

I think the change over year was actually 2005, but if you look at the pics at the top of this page, the two outer Nav's are D40's, and the middle one is a D22 (or sometimes referred to as a D23 as they the had a 'facelift' in 2002).

Hope this helps a little,

Ezz.

Is there somewhere on the WWW that lists the specifications for the D22? I'm thinking eninge output, wheel/tyre sizes, weights etc., even servicing info?

Mine will be under warranty for another 18 months. But I want to be ready to do what I can, and like to get stuck in if possible.
