Hi everyone.
My 2016 np300 has a leak at the rear right hand side of the cam cover. It appears to be designed to be almost impossible to remove as there is very little clearance between the cover and the pipes running across the top. I have removed the rear bolt by unbolting the pipes on the left side ( the bracket on the right has two bolts, one neatly covered by a pipe), I then had to cut the rear bolt to remove it, intending to replace that bolt with a slightly shorter one , now I have found that the cover has two extended plastic parts going into the cylinder head preventing removal. Any tips to sort this out would be most appreciated.
Why make a simple job so hard ??????
Cheers
Neville

To clarify, the injector cover has been removed, the problem is removing the oil seperator to reseal it, small leak at the rear drivers (exhaust )side , now thinking I will clean the sealing surfaces as well as I can with the seperator lifted as much as possible ( not much ) then lightly smear with aviation gasket sealer, torque down and hope that fixes the leak.
