D40 2009 RX central locking

how’s everyone going, so getting sick of using the key to open the door lock then getting into the car and having to unlock the doors again, some people are saying the RX has central locking (put the key in the door and opens all 4 doors) but mine doesn’t do that. any help would be appreciated, don’t know where to start

No buttons on key, have been using it manually to unlock. Seems like it only unlocks drivers door, not too sure if this is normal. Also a Thai built 2009 RX as well. It does have a central lock button on the driver's door panel switch but this button doesn't seem to do anything either.
I have to reach around to each door to unlock from inside

Sounds like a fault with the key switch in the driver's door. So not sending the lock/unlock instruction when turned.
