Hi Guys
I’ve got a 2014 V6, had it from new, got 95K on the clock now, it’s been serviced regularly and been extremely trouble free untill a couple of weeks ago.
My issues are the dash lighting keeps disappearing and the sat Nav freezes at the same time, the speedo, Rev gauge, temperature, fuel gauges still function but you can’t see them properly, the indicators still work but don’t flash on the dash and there is no indicator sound. Lights still function properly, it occasionally lights back up and will work for 5 to 10 mins then it’s gives a double beep and goes dark again.
Has anyone had similar issues, I’ve searched the forums but can’t find anything?

A few people have had a problem with earthing on the V6.

That does sound like it is likely to be your problem.

Apparently there is a connector and chassis earth point near the A pillar on the passenger side, worth investigating.

I’m a bit late updating this but the issue was with the dash cluster itself. The dash had to be removed and sent away for repair, all working perfectly again,
this info may be of help to someone in the future.

Hi landmannnn
no not through Nissan, my local garage has a vehicle Electrcian who calls in weekly, he diagnosed the dash cluster and arranged the repair, the cost for the specialist dash repair was about £170 and about another £100 for garage time, luckily the garage owner is a friend, I know he spent a lot of time on it and let me use his own truck for 8 days while mine was off the road so I got away very lightly. The truck has now gone and I’ve got a new N Guard, very underimpressed with it after the V6, but I’ve only had 5 days....

I's a shame to get rid of a V6, but it had to happen sometime I suppose. I am not looking forward to having to do it.
