Hi, so my Brand new (not even a month old) N-guard engine warning light has come on......

Called the RAC who diagnosed blocked DPF....

I was 200 miles into a 300 mile journey at the time and the Truck still drives fine.

1275 miles in and i'm already wishing I'd gone for the L200!!

It's back with Nissan now. The RAC guy said just turn up in the morning at Nissan and explain the situation.

I understand sometimes new cars go wrong, but the Nissan service dept said I might need to pay for an oil & filter as the forced DPF regen dilutes the oil.... Erm no, I'll not be paying for anything!!!

Err no I don't think I'd pay either unless it was supposed to have its first service before the amount of miles you've put on it, sounds to me like they're feeding you with a load of old flannel, if no joy phone Nissan HQ

So I picked the truck up last night and Nissan said the DPF was not at fault.... it was a knackered NOX sensor.......

Will be replaced under warranty when part is available, but until then the light has been reset and I have been told I can drive it as normal.....
