I got myself a black '54 reg D22 in November 2006 with snugtop XTR (mainly because we have 3 dogs: Bull Mastiff, German Shepherd/Rottie cross and a very elderly German Shepherd/Labrador cross so we needed much more space than the estate car we used to have).
I was looking for an L200 originally (wash my mouth out!) but decided on the D22 because the build quality seemed better, plus the D22 has extra power and a cheaper insurance group. I'm really glad I did now because I really enjoy driving it and I think it looks better than the L200 too. I look down my nose at L200s now!
