I drive a 1997 4x2 double cab Navara Ventura (maybe a local model only), withTD27 engine(non turbo). It has travelled 105,000 km's.
I am wondering at how many km's does the cam belt (or is it a chain) needs replacing. I don't have an owners manual. Also am I due for any other maintanance. eg exhaust valve clearances? I have just had the injector nozzels replaced and the ute is going very well.
There are heaps of Nissan ute's and 4x4's in NZ with the old 2.7 diesel.
Hope someone can help.

Cheers,
Chris B

Hi Chris,

Welcome, and thanks for expanding our club even further.

I have good news about the timing set up on the TD27 - assuming it is the same as here in the UK, it has neither a belt or chains! Its a series of 'cogs', like a clockwork affair and there is absolutely nothing to change!

Good eh?

I am 99% certain that this system is used on all TD27's, regardless of marketplace.

Best regards,

Ezz.
