After emailing HIDS4U a few times relating to questions on these kits in other threads I asked if they did a group buy and they emailed back this link.

http://www.hids4u.co.uk/product_details.asp?id=231

I have their kit in my D40 and is pretty damm good and there are a couple of threads out there relating to this.

Enjoy,

WOW !!! what a upgrade, i did one at a time just to see the difference.

It make the normal headlight look Orange in Comparison, amazing !

I'm off out for a spin tonight

So easy to install also, ( apart from having to take the filter box out and the battery part out, to get to the bulbs

Took about 1.5 hours in total.

Quality peice of kit as well :)

just did a video of the navara ( same set )

yes... one of my driving lights bulbs has gone but you can see the difference between halogen and Xeon.

Each Xeon is 35 watts !!! each driving light is 150 watts.

What are the D40 Aventuras being supplied with at the moment? Are Xenon's an option when you buy? I was sure i had xenons already, i'll go and check!

Xenon were not a option :( if they were I'm sure it would cost more than a £ 200 option !

Just back from a drive and first reaction is WOW !!!

Just the first initial Turn on is worth the price, they kind of flash on, im sure many of you have seen merc ones light up in car parks.
These are just the same.

It takes some getting used too, the difference in colour is amazing.

Everything in front of you is Bright White !!

Well worth the money, i was waiting for a group buy like this. So nows the time to buy. The best thing is, you can take them off if you sell the Nav and put them on another vehicle with the same Headlamp fitment :)

GO and buy a set, you wont be disappointed :)

Just an update on the Hids4U customer service.

Not long after taking the kit out of my X-trail and into the D40 (in October last year) one of the bulbs blew.

Hids4U sent another without question.

When my company were almost gonna take the truck off me I took the HIDS out in preperation and damaged a bulb.

I bought a new one but the package was empty on arrival (royal mail employee helped them self or it fell out) and Hids4U sent another that day.

And, last week (after owning the kit for almost 2 years now) a ballast went. I actually think it was the ignitor part of the unit. Hids4U, again, without question sent out a new unit.

Their whole attitude on the phone is brilliant. A couple of colleuges have heard the conversation on hands free and have said to me thats what you call customer service. Nothing seems too much trouble for them.

If only Nissan thought like that eh?
