Been reading all the posts on isnsurance and wondering why i keep geeting really expensive quotes?

Last year i switched to the navara from a hond civic type R so i paid through the nose to stay with my insurance company to not lose any no claims.
This year tho adrian flux renewal quote is ££££££

Im 28 iv been driving almost 10 years with 8yrs ncb. No accidents and convictions and all my quotes are stupid.
I drive a 2007 un moddified siver D40 aventura.

Is it my age??

I wrote about Adrian Flux in a post "Whatever happened to Adrian Flux?". Give Neil at Greenlight or Dan at A Plan a try, you'll at least get their best offers. They both post in the insurance section.:awesomework

I know very little about insurance companies, but just as with banks, why stay with the same? Since they all want your money , try to look for another one and see if you can get it cheaper?

Must be because it's classed as commercial?

My Pathfinder costs me less than £300 fully comp for two drivers, me (42) and 'er (35).

Should add that I have 19 years NCB and no points on either license 0:)

I've had several quotes for my yet to arrive NP300, with vastly differing prices.

Part of the difference is in part I think down to it being classed as a commercial rather than a private car.

You also have to compare the relative cover provided. My current favourite quote is by no means the cheapest but provides me with the cover that I need for what I do.

An insurance policy is only good value if it pays out when you need it to. It may be dirt cheap but if they try and wriggle out of paying out then it's worse than worthless.

We specialise in modified vehicles but have some very competitive schemes.

If you wanted to look at a modified policy id be happy to run you a quotation.

If you drop me a PM with your contact number i'll get in touch personally and run the price. We allow a 15% discount for forum members as well.

Kind Regards
Neil
