Hi, am Harun and am new here but i need help seriously. i have 2011 d40 nissan navara and whenever i start the engine it will only idle for some sec and go off,took the cam sensor out of circuit and the engine runs/idle fine but its slugish/no power and can only reach 2000rpms and when the cam sensor is connected back the engine goes off again. have error code P0581 too what mightthe cause and possible solution please.

First thing, if you disconnect the cam sensor the vehicle will run on a default setting.

There are two possibilities.
First is a faulty cam sensor.
Second is the lower timing chain has stretched (the engine management system will not let the engine run if that is the case)

I would suggest the timing chain is checked, here is a link that might help

P0581 is a problem with the clock spring, not related.
