Hello guys.
I'm from Romania and recently i bought a Navara DoubleCab 2010 with 2.5 liter engine and automatic transmission.

It's my first Navara and i just love this car! I do all the jobs myself, as i'm very passionate of automotive.
Here is what i did until now:
- oils and filters change
- changed the single and weak horn with pair of horns from Audi

just to see the difference from between 2 models: :laugh2:

- eliminate the few rust points that i found in back and on chassis
- fill the rear wings with anti-rust wax
- repainted the rear wheel housing, sand blasted and repainted the drums
Under the cabin, the whole body is waxed from the last owner

- replaced the yellow light from gauge cluster with white. Will reverse the polarised films of displays and change the light from all switches inside the car with some orange.

- replaced all bulbs outside of the car, with LED bulbs (will be back with photos), except the short/long beam.

- made a full package of interior and door lighting (will be back with the photos too)

- sand blasted the rear bumper, isolated inside and waxed, repainted outside and changed the whole rear parking system, as one of the sensors was defective

- repainted the center console trims.
- replaced the light bulbs from climate with LED's. One of them is not working at the moment, will test to see what is the problem.
- modded the SatNav and installed the rear view camera

- i intend to replace the case of one key because it's a pretty used-up
- the remote control from Webasto replaced with GSM controller

Right now the front grille is at paint shop to refresh the paint and work is in progress with some front wheel housing covers, to fit in rear wheel housing.

And will replace the speakers with some nice Hertz components.

Looking great.
Wow, you have been busy.

Was the door mirror puddle bulb easy to swap to LED and could you notice a better light once you'd swapped?

Yes, i was very busy. I purchased the truck only a month ago... :grin2:

After you remove the mirror glass, it's very easy to remove the puddle bulb.
And the LED light... oh yeah, it's light years ahead.

As promised...

- door interior handle light (at night is very nice and helpful)

- footlight in white when door open, orange when just the lights on

- lights under the doors, when open it (front & rear)

- red lights in doors, helpful to avoid crushes when opening

- and here you can see also the orange ambiental lights in door pockets

- all rear lights with LED

- reverse camera

- another picture of parking sensors LED display (Steelmate PTS410M5)

- and instead of the right side blind cover i installed a double USB phone charger with voltmeter. Very useful to me and the other 12V outlet remains free.

Thank you!
This is my LED parking light.
I will do some modifications to use it as DRL. It gives the car a fresh look.

This fuel consumption could be a very good one for this heavy truck.
Thanks to powerbox. Without it, the consumption raises with ~ 2-2.5L/100km.

And installed the new rear Focal tweeters. The music has been deffinitely improved. :smile2:
No damage was made to the interior trims. I just made some steel bezels that holds the tweeters on trims without drilling it.

The foot lights were already installed. I feeded the door lights from them (black and orange wires).
If you already have the foot lights, just need to route the wires from that point through the A and B pillars and the doors.
If you don't have the foot lights, i think you will have to find the wires that feed the front or rear dome light and connect on them.
The door and foot ambiental lights are connected to parking lights.

I'm guessing Romanian music is quite easy to improve....?>:)
I don't listen romanian music, but i think is just as easy to improve as foreign music. :grin2:
Now it sounds way better than before.
Waiting for speaker adapter rings to install the Hertz mid's.
