Navara D22 -2001

I acquired from a now sadly departed friend of mine, a Navarra D22 first registered in May 2001.

This seems to be the cusp before the ‘Facelift’ and I am unsure what parts are interchangeable.

I am specifically looking for Front Wings, Fuel tank and various other bits and pieces.

Does anyone know if for example a wing for a D22 from 2003 would fit mine from 2001?

Also is there a Navarra specialist store in the UK or Europe ?

Many Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum. Condolences on your loss.

As for the D22, yes, several changes late 2001.

The good news is that the engine drivetrain is bomb proof (actually most have been exported to Africa where reliability is appreciated)

So the wings definitely changed post facelift, it seems likely the fuel tank did too as the fuel system was different.

In terms of parts, tricky in the UK. Pick ups didn't have many sales back then in the UK and almost no sales in Europe, and as above most have now been exported.

eBay can be useful for second hand parts. MilnerOffRoad have some parts new. Plenty available in Australia, but import is challenging.
Thank you for your speedy reply.
The Engine has already done over 122,000 miles and touch wood it is still going strong, it is the bodywork that has suffered from salty UK roads and a lack of TLC over the years.
It was my intention to do a total refurb the pickup and hand it down to my daughter, but with a petrol tank at £850.00 inc VAT I may have to just keep it going :-(
I will contact MilnerOffRoad and have a couple of mates in Austalia who might be able to source parts, as you say shipping will be expensive.
Hey Ho, onward and upwards.
