I've had my Navara for a number of months and have come across a rather irritating feature which I need help on to remove/cancel.

If I have the navigation on with the radio in the background, as soon as I go over the speed limit be it 1 or 2 km p/h, the radio volume automatically decreases until I reduce my speed back to the speed limit or under.

Not that I speed a lot but this is becoming rather irritating.

Is there any way of removing or cancelling this unrequested feature?

Welcome along.

I can't answer your question, but it sounds like a useless feature.

I've gone through all the volume settings on the head unit and nothing that I adjust makes any difference.

I had a chance this morning to play around with the navigation settings.

Under "speed limit" notification, there was an option to choose visible, audible and visible & audible.

The latter was the selected option, so I changed the option to just "visible".

Hoping that this now sorts the reducing radio volume out.

I do hope you get this annoyance sorted out.

I would literally have to look at replacing the head unit if I had no settings option.

Annoying issue now resolved.

Tested this afternoon and radio volume remains as set.
