Hi all,
Im in a dilemma. The chassis on my truck will need a bit of welding come next MOT. Not sure wether to stick or twist with it. I love the bloody thing. I knows its a truck, but every time i drive it i smile (and slide) (ssshhhh). Need some advice really. o_O

If it was mine I would reinforce plate it then future proof the chassis , worth it if its good all round and you know the truck ,

Brill thanks for the reply. Its definitely looking that way. I've found replacement plates for the whole of the rear of the chassis. Thanks for your advice

If you love the car and can afford the repair, you’ve answered your own question. It’s like a faithful dog, you’ll do everything you can.

If the car is a line on your balance sheet and a tool to achieve tasks, then work out what the repair would cost vs what it will return to you in value, and if you don’t like it, it’s time to move on. Like when a cat needs something expensive at the vet.
