Hi everyone.
I’m new to this forum and pretty much new to pick ups.
I’ve bought myself a 2015 D40 double cab. Seems to be in very good condition for the price, few marks here and there but nothing that will bother me too much (I think).
it has a Truckman Grand canopy but I think everything else is fairly standard.
Looking for advice and diagnosis issues should they arise.
I currently have one which is ‘low oil’ even though the oil level is fine. Not sure if it’s a sensor issue or pressure somewhere?
Other than that it seems like a decent motor.
hoping to use it for camping with a rooftop tent in the near future.

The dipstick is always right! So I wouldn't worry.

Discussed before, most people seem to have found an oil change cures the warning light.

This might sound stooooopid but I jumped into the car and started it up, oil symbol was flashing and said oil low on the odometer where the miles are. Needless to say I turned it off straight away. But when I checked the dipstick it is showing full oil, left it ages, checked again, full oil...

That's very helpful. I was considering getting a service done and this has probably just confirmed I should! Thanks again.

Just had a full service done, but the oil low light comes on the pre-start check. Then goes off after a few seconds. Could it be a sensor if the oil and filter have been changed?
