If it hasn't been used for a while, has the battery gone flat?

For a while I meant like 2-3 days an yes the battery is good also the terminals are fine aswell even check the fuses an I still don't know what the problem isWelcome to the forum. If it hasn't been used for a while, has the battery gone flat?
Yes I have already used multi meter and I have gotten a reading nothing is wrong ThierIt maybe one of the two or three large fuses in the positive battery terminal. Known as fusible links.
Not easy to check visually, you might need a multimeter.
yes the key light is coming on on the cluster but I am still getting the 12v all aroundHave you got the red key light flashing on the cluster?
If not then highly likely to be main connector. Check you are getting 12v on the large connection on the alternator and starter.
The key light should flash with no key. Insert the key and the light should go out.yes the key light is coming on on the cluster but I am still getting the 12v all around
Still nothing my guy I'm not sure what else to doThe key light should flash with no key. Insert the key and the light should go out.
It looks like an issue with the security module. Have you got a second key you can try?
Also try disconnecting the battery and turn the key a couple of times, that resets the computers.
Well man lol I got it to work it was ah simple fuse ... thanks for all the helpIs the red key light still flashing when you insert the key and turn it?
Wait I still have another question whats ah Manual way I can reset my dpf setting on 2007 navara d40Great!
There is only one way, noting that only automatic transmission models from that age have a dpf.Wait I still have another question whats ah Manual way I can reset my dpf setting on 2007 navara d40
Ahhh okay so where is it really located The part I need to drill intoThere is only one way, noting that only automatic transmission models from that age have a dpf.
You need to run the vehicle over 2,000 rpm over 50mph for 20 minutes. That will trigger a regeneration. Don't ask me how you will be able to do that on Grenada!
If you have got an automatic, best bet is to take it off and run a long masonry drill bit through it. It won't be a functioning dpf any more, but where you live a dpf is not suitable anyway.
