Having investigated, my understanding is either replacing the whole pipe or only the seal will unfortunately not last. Better spending a few more quid to get it definitely sorted.
See this Youtube video showing an upgrade with CRG hot pipe
What do you think?
Looks good, converted price is a little over 250 GBP. I've requested a quote for postage to UK then there'll be import duty and VAT on top so probably not much change from £400.
Anyone know what Nissan charge for the replacement pipe in the UK?

I'll find out the price of the genuine pipe. Regarding this replacement one, I requested a quotation as well. There is another alternative Funny enough they are down the road from CRG, next to Brisbane.

The point is to have the exact dimensions. I went to the dealer I know to try getting a faulty pipe and investigate without having my pickup off the road but they send them back to warranty the vast majority of the time.

Hi all
Me and a mate have just designed and manufactured a replacement seal for the hot pipe as his was leaking.
So far we have made one then it leaked under hard 4wd so we are on our second generation and so far so good. We have just made a batch of 10 pre production Seals to sell local to get some more real world testing.
All going to plan we should have this in the market before Xmas this year.
We are based in New Zealand.
We currently do not have a business just making these seal on the side.
If anyone is interested leave a comment or email me.

Cheers
Gareth

For a bit less than 150€, I took the genuine option for now. Whilst the faulty one will be on the bench, I'll try to source the seals as I fear it might not be fixed for ever. Nissan changed the part number, so I do hope that there is an improvement.
