Hello,
I have had my aerial broken by a carpark barrier and need to replace it. If possible I would like to replace it with a shark fin aerial. Any recommendations are welcome as all that's left is the top cap and rubber seal. Many thanks in advance.
Regards
Richard

You need to unscrew it from the underside.

I've forgotten how the roof customer comes off, probably a few screws.

Bear in mind that reception will be worse with a shark fin, not a concern in towns, but noticeable in rural locations.

Thank you so much for your reply I may stick with the original aerial but wonder how BMW's get such good reception with shark fins or don't they? I'll have a look at getting the old one off.

The Navara radio does need a better signal that many others. Also bear in mind that not all FM stations are created equal.

I'm sure my old 1 series BMW had an areal on the rear side window..... looked like a heated screen element.. to compliment the shark fin?

My Disco 4 has a shark fin and the reception is rubbish. Radio and TV...
