Hello,
my airbag light is blinking... so without any bigger thinking I replaced the clock spring. But this was not the issue.

Diagnostics told me inside the Airbag ECU is fault B1059 which is not possible to reset - so the fault is persistent.

Service manual is not really clear about this fault:
Rectangle Font Parallel Monochrome Number

the ECU knows something is wrong but this fault in group with some other errors - is here someone who has more detailed fault description? To this exact fault number?

Thanks!

Thanks, I was unable to find these posts. The car does not look like after major crash, so I believe (and hope) it is not the case. Will check the other options first and let the community know.

So, all connectors checked, sprayed with a contact spray and the fault is still here. Seems a new ECU is really needed, this may be after a crash (but I tripe-checked the car and there is literally no visible damage to the frame or any other parts.)

By the way - any idea for what use can be this non-connected connector near the SRS ECU?
