Starter motor which one...d40 diesel Thai manual

Hey everyone, I have been having issues with my starter motor to the point I take it off and apart every day, have to clean it and put it back on, yep the brushes are ******..I have a 2010 Thai d40 yd25 6 speed manual and can't for the fn life of me find another one that fits, I picked up one last night second had with no solenoid thinking I could take mine off and fit to new one, nope different mechanism that engages the shaft to push out, so the commutator and shaft don't fit in mine either...neither does just the back casing lol .. literally nothing is the same lol..and yeah it is off another yd25 but a pathfinder...mine has 10t and all the others online have 11 or 12t...I have become an expert in taking apart starter motors tho the last 2 weeks lol

I'd assume so as it hadn't looked like it had ever been off before lol ..I might look for a solenoid for the other one and then see if it bolts up ..I have to take the old one off again in the morning before work to take apart n clean all the brush deposits as I get about 4 start n stops before it will go anymore lol ..I'll see if the newer front half at least bolts up I guess before I order a solenoid, it's got to be easier than soldering on new brushes ...when it's all cleaned and put in it has no issue at all starting straight away and fast so I assume it's original

It's hard to tell when the brushes are so worn, the commutator has a lil knick in it so the brushes are hitting that everytime ..I'm pretty certain it's only the brushes and commutater causing the issue ..I think it's time to solder some new brushes and see if I can eliminate the lil ridge/knick on the commutator again lol ..it's ******* impossible to find a starter that's the same lol...maybe this new ones off an auto or something Spanish model, maybe something to do with single vs dual mass flywheel ? **** knows lol

I have read that you can use an 11t one instead of a 10t ..but not a 12t in replace of it. You would think all manual diesel yd25 starters would be the same but nope, repco has 3 different ones, plus then there's mine as well lol.
