Anyone got any ideas on getting this bolt out?

Attempted to do the SCV on my 07 navara with just an allen key, did the accessible bolt easy no problems.

The other one I accidentally stripped, im getting my allen socket from work tomorrow but any ideas on this? ive added photos…

oh I do love a good stripped bolt...

I would start with a set of mole grips. but doesn't look like you've much wriggle room there.

one option is to cut a slit into the bolt head wide enough for a flat head, and then try your luck. Might struggle a bit that way if its rusted but might be worth a shot.

And theres no room at all for a pair of multigrips 🥱 i gave the flathead a go hut it didnt seem to wanna grip. Is there a way to start it?

I would try start it by using a multitool with a small metal cutting blade. might take a bit of patience, but once you've nibbled across the diameter of the bolt head you might get enough leverage to get it moving - could even flood it with penetrating fluid to make it as easy as possible. All presuming there,s enough room for that of course!

The other way is to use a bigger allen socket, and kinda ram it in to get a bite.

The best access is to remove the front wheel and the plastic inner wheel arch liner.

A slightly oversized Torx bit might knock into the hex slot. They are not too tight so that should be your first try

Update manages to get a hex bit into it and get it to grip, thank god!
