Bought a 66 plate 2 weeks ago,
Few days ago heard a slight tapping noise coming from engine.
There's a leak on egr pipe as u can also hear it blowing a bit(exhaust),would this cause the tapping?

Generally speaking exhaust leaks can make a sound very much like tapping, so probably yes.
