Hi Folks,
Can someone send me a photo of where to look for the timing chain sensor please, I have 2007 D40. I am in the process of following all the guides to fault find poor cold start and stalling issues, so far I have fitted and recoded new injectors as three were shot, new fuel lines & filter, new SCV, new vacuum lines & air filter, cleaned out the MAF & throttle body, oil & filter change plus engine flush, checked fuel for water/contamination oh and Blanked the EGR. The only other thing left to do prior to the timing chain sensor is a ECU & fuel pump relearn.

It's called a camshaft sensor. If you Google Navara D40 camshaft sensor and click on images you will see where it is.
