Update: I didn't go for this in the end but went for a more substantial one but with detachable hitch - sourced from Germany. I know it won't be substantial enough for those wishing to pull heavy loads but if you aren't and only pull small trailers and/or small boats, etc., this is fine. See photos. I've also included a shot where the hidden terminal connector is; lying on gravel looking up doesn't make it easy to find (instructions were next to useless but with quick connectors it was pretty straight forward to work out what went where once I'd found this!).

3500 kg. Nose weight (you can just make it out on one of the photos) is 140 kg so appears to match most standard towbars you can (or could!) purchase in the UK. No cuts or modifications required either unlike some that I was looking at. fitted perfectly too.
