Hi folks I'm new here.
I've got a 2021 Nissan Navara N guard and I've fitted a Truckman Grand hardtop. My question is the wiring, I've found, brake light wire, de mister wire, lock and unlock, but my thin green in the loom under the kick panel isn't live when interior lights come on with door open. Rang truckman to be told it's the thin green wire...... any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Hi

Hi jacking this post a bit rather than start another .

I have a 2019 Navara which I bought with a GLS Truckman top. Everything worked ok until it went in for MOT/Service last summer, after that the central locking on the Truckman became hit and miss then it stopped working, I noted that when serviced the dealer had oiled the components in the lock and wondered if that had killed the solenoid. I Replaced the 3 fuses (Truckman drawing shows 2) nothing, Bought and fitted a replacement solenoid, nothing. I then noticed that the Truckman interior light was very dim, messed a bit with it , it came bright, sometimes its bright, sometimes its dim ., replaced the relay - nothing on locking, light still dim/bright depending on how it feels. The heated screen is also random as to whether it works or not. I reversed up to a window today and noticed that the the high level brake light is very very dim, checked the truckman wiring loom earth and positive connection, both are very secure and seem ok.
How is the truckman top earthed ? I suspect that it is a bad earth connection and don't believe that the single wire in the loom carries the earth for all of the electrics on the top, especially heated screen and central locking. Any idea's the Truckman wiring diagrams don't show an internal earth on the canopy.
Thanks.

Ok, so had an autoelectrician I deal with look at the issues. It appears that when in for service that either the 4 post lift has crushed the harness, or swinging the lift leg in or out of position has snaged and stretched it there is a defenite kink right in that area and the harness is not secured very well.
He's going to strip out and repair/replace hopefully next week.

For those interested Truckman sent me some decent wiring diagrams attached. There are a lot of spade connections inside the top spoiler, more than what is shown in diagram.
