The gearbox shifts OK when in Auto mode but when I shift to S or manual The indicator light on the dash stays at D and nothing happens
I have checked the three micro switchs at the bass of the gear shift lever and they are working OK ?
Its a late 2013 Navara Outlaw V9X with 80k on the clock Any ideas will be much appreciated

We have seen this a couple of times before. Apparently if the micro switches are ok, the fault will be in the instrument cluster.

Somebody removed it and unplugged it, when plugged back in it worked, another person replaced the the cluster with a used one.

A update The fault codes were showing battery voltage was down (11.9) so fitted a new one codes disappeared and they now show that the switchs all function OK but no signal from the

instrument panel Trouble is there is a shortage of them (about a £1000 each) and none second hand Is it really worth chancing s/h anyway ?

A update all switches checked and working and checked at meters OK Meters sent to ECU testing who say they are no problem. On OBD meter we have a signal showing non manual mode
is permanently on (automatic) even when manual mode is selected We disconnected the TCM (in the gearbox) and this makes no difference Still only shows auto on the meters and the box still will not go into manual Any bright ideas please
