Hi I was driving the Warrior v9x the other day at 40mph every thing
Was fine then the rpm dropped with a loud woosh of air my first thoughts
Were one of the hoses two or from the intercooler .the next day I went into
My garage to look for a blown hose NO all ok ant tight started up the truck
No noise just normal took it for a hard drive for a long run all still ok .

O yes there no smoke. Any ideas.

Definitely not something you will find at the local motor factors.

Somebody like Billcar could source a boost control valve.

The fan coupling is another story, actually not a viscous unit, it is an electromagnetic clutch that will only come from Nissan. Seriously expensive just to replace it just in case.

Hi so I replaced the Turbocharger boost control solenoid No change so that’s
Answered that one.But I have found the problem the roar for the engine is the
Intermittent fault with the magnetic fan .at times it release and the fan blades
Will idle on tick over and other times it will hold in on idle .if the engine is cold
No problem .as above intermittent .
Any ides on this finding.

I would take the fancy coupling off and have a good look at it. It won't be a problem running without a fan in this weather.

It might be just really dirty or have a dodgy bearing.
