You are absolutely right Paul, unfortunately there are far too many incompetent technician in the Nissan dealer network in this country, but I'm proud to be different (you can check it out by searching other Nissan forums like 350Z and GTR  ) and I really hope to become a valuable member of this slice of the Nissan world. :D

I didn't take it as an offence at all :) and after 20 years in dealerships you can't show me new regarding incompetent technicians and rip-off garages. (That was one of the reason I left the official dealer network). Will try to post regularly when I see somebody need technical advice ;) and anybody more than contact me with any problem :)

Welcome Sly,

Your credentials are impressive and you have done well setting up your own business. :awesomework

I'm looking forward to seeing your input, you will see that we have been doing pretty well helping each other and most issues have been dealt with through a process of elimination. You never know, you may learn something from us.

Obviously we are spread about the UK and further afield, is there any service or sales you can offer us?

I'm on my 5th D40, Just picked up a new V6 what a difference, have you come across any issues with them?

:cheers2:
There are not many common faults with the new engines (apart from some issues with the software for the EGR valve and some oil leak problems) generally it is a good engine (so far  )
