Hi I have searched everywhere to find which wires to tap into for my truck man canopy to work with remote central locking but keep getting different colours? Can anyone help? Before I give up

Fairly sure the wiring colours were the same for all D40 models

Thank you for that I will have a look later on today. Was going to join in behind lock unlock switch but didn’t know which wires to use I have grey, orange, black, red and white.

Not sure that will work, certainly when I fitted auto folding mirrors I picked up the lock and unlock wires under the driver's side threshold strip. There's enough slack in those wires to make decent connections.

Thanks for that. Do you know if they’re just one purple and grey ? Auto mirrors is my next job was it a big job?

Yes, purple and grey.

By the way the lock/unlock switch definitely won't work as it doesn't produce the pulse, the body control module does that.

The only hassle with the autofold was wiring to the existing switch. Very little slack in the wires, other than that dead easy.
