Anyone doing the Chorley Nissan Off road Driving day this Saturday and Sunday.
I'll be there if you wanna come over and say Hi !

I will not tip any cars over on their roofs, I will not tip any cars over on their roofs, I will not tip any cars over on their roofs, I will not tip any cars over on their roofs, I will not tip any cars over on their roofs, I will not tip any cars over on their roofs . . . . . . or will I ???
Tune in to You tube to see it if i do
So armed with a new Helmet-Cam, digital recorder and velcro fasteners - i'm looking to be bouncing the rev limiter on the 350Z too (TVR Cerbera - it is not !!!) and feel the cold hand of fear gripping my heart !

Zool.
oh, did i say 'I will not tip any cars over on their roofs' ? - must try to remember that bit

I'm going to this event on Sunday.. Went last time, had a ball - The best part by far was riding in the back of a 30 year old Datsun Patrol, being driven by Andrew Turner. Awesome, I think he bought it on eBay purposely to wreck it. Should be a great weekend, especially if it keeps raining!

What a fantastic experience.. The rain came down and made the track extra slippery.
We got the chance to drive Pathfinders, Navaras, Patrols & a short wheel base Terrano off road.

All 17 cars had parts missing, mainly rear bumpers. The best vehicle off road by far was a short wheel base Terrano.

A cracking day, with food and drink layed on.
Well done all at Chorley Nissan.

Yes , and i found they were all highly capeable and great fun, they really took some abuse and the whole range are tough as hell !!!
The patrol was a hell of a car and it was like doing the course whilst sat on the comfy sofa !! (bit dated inside though)

the course was getting quite rutted and i bet it was slippy. the day before it was slippy but less of a course seemingly designed to 'destroy' any vehicle using it !!

Cant believe some people in out group CHOSE not to drive it but be driven instaed - big girls

Chorley nissan off road day

Attended last Sunday morning and what a good day quite impressed with the Nav's capabilities. steep slippy hiils and turns didn't cause any real worries for the Nav even on standard road tyres. Just a word of caution though, if you are thinking of going of roading remove your side steps otherwise you will trash them
Spoke with the service manager on Monday and he estimated a cost of 20,000 to put the cars back together !! Rear bumpers being the main problem area
